Marie Rene is the Director of Programs and Volunteer Manager at Hoofbeats Sanctuary, where she leads trauma-informed equine-assisted therapy programs for women and girls on the Sunshine Coast. With a background in counselling and a deep respect for the relational wisdom of horses, Marie’s work focuses on safety, embodiment, boundaries, and reconnection. She is passionate about community-based healing and creating spaces where women feel seen, supported, and empowered to thrive.
